And yet — in the actual moment money is on the table, something else runs. The number that comes out is lower than the one you planned. The scope expands without an invoice. The negotiation ends before it should.
That pattern is not a knowledge gap or a discipline failure. It is a neural prediction encoded in your limbic system — a prediction about what happens when you collect your full worth. It cannot be overridden by knowing better. It has to be updated at the level where it actually lives.

Why Everything You've Tried Hasn't Closed the Gap
Business coaching addresses the wrong level.
Business coaches are excellent at pricing frameworks, negotiation scripts, and accountability structures. You may have used all of these. The gap persisted — not because the coaching was bad, but because it operated at the cognitive level. The pattern overriding your pricing intentions does not live there. It lives in the limbic system and the default mode network of your brain, where threat responses are encoded and run faster than conscious thought.
Mindset work doesn't reach the right system.
Reframing beliefs, identifying limiting thoughts, journaling about money stories — these are prefrontal cortex interventions that take time to make a noticeable difference, if at all. The income pattern runs in the limbic system. These are different systems with different access points. Mindset work produces insight. Insight does not change what happens in the body when it's time to name a number. You've likely experienced this directly — you understand the pattern completely and still cannot stop it in the moment.
Knowing the pattern doesn't change it.
You can likely describe your money pattern with clinical precision. You know when it fires, what triggers it, what it costs you. That self-awareness is real and hard-won. When a gap persists, it's because awareness is a cognitive tool and the pattern is a limbic one. The part of the brain running the income ceiling does not process language, logic, or insight. It processes threat and safety signals. That requires a different process entirely.
Willpower is slower than the pattern.
The limbic system fires in milliseconds. Conscious intention operates at a fraction of that speed. By the time you remember to hold your price, the pattern has already been triggered. Willpower is not a solution to a speed problem. Updating the underlying prediction is. When the prediction changes, the somatic response changes — and the number that comes out is the one you planned, without requiring constant effortful override.

How I Work
The income ceiling pattern requires an update in your default mode network — the level where the prediction lives. I draw from multiple brain-based modalities specifically because different neural patterns require different access points. Here's what's in the toolkit and why it matters.
Rewiring Patterns
These modalities work at the level where the income pattern is encoded — identifying the specific neural associations driving the Deserve Threshold, Reciprocity Wound, and Pricing Pattern, and updating them with new predictions that reflect your actual market value and current reality.
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
Works with the connection between mind, language, and behavior to surface the specific unconscious prediction driving the income ceiling and replace it with one calibrated to current reality. Particularly effective at the moment-of-pricing activation — the somatic response that fires before conscious thought.
Neuro-Associative Conditioning
Uses pattern interrupts and neurological conditioning to break the automatic accommodation response — the compulsion to discount, absorb scope, or concede before the other party pushes back. Installs a new default that holds the boundary without internal conflict.
BioCognitive Recontextualization
Addresses how early cultural and relational messaging — “don't be greedy,” “be grateful for what you have,” “money changes people” — shaped the Deserve Threshold at a formative level. We identify the specific encoded message and update it so it no longer runs as an automatic brake on income.
Brainspotting
Locates the subcortical storage sites — specific points in the visual field that correlate directly to where trauma, fixed beliefs, and somatic activation are held in the brain and body. By holding focused attention on a brainspot while maintaining dual attunement, the nervous system is given permission to access and process what it has been holding — including the encoded conviction that earning at full value is unsafe. Because processing happens beneath the cognitive layer, the shift does not require insight, narrative, or conscious understanding to take hold.
Accessing the Subconscious
These approaches bypass the conscious mind to work at the level where the income prediction is encoded. This is the mechanism that produces shifts that conscious approaches cannot. Not through insight, but through a direct update to the neural prediction itself.
Ericksonian Hypnotherapy
A flexible, precision-tailored approach using storytelling, metaphor, and indirect suggestion to access the limbic system without triggering the analytical mind's defenses. Particularly effective with high-analytical clients — executives and entrepreneurs who have found that direct instruction produces resistance rather than change.
Direct & Indirect Suggestion
High-analytical clients often resist being directed. I calibrate the level of directness in real time — some patterns respond to clear instruction, others require an indirect approach that lets the limbic system update without triggering conscious resistance. The method adjusts to what will land.
Guided Imagery & Visualization
Immersive, sensory-rich sessions that engage the limbic system through imagination — the same mechanism the brain uses to encode the original prediction. Used to rehearse and install new responses to the pricing moment, negotiation scenario, or compensation conversation at the neurological level before the real situation occurs.
Mindfulness Integration
Used as a grounding tool and entry point into deeper limbic work. Also valuable post-session — building the somatic awareness to recognize when the income pattern is activating, which accelerates the integration of the update between sessions.
