When the PatternIs Cleared at the Source.
Real results from people who understood their patterns completely and still had the gap — until the work reached the level where it actually lives.
After 4,000+ client sessions, these are the patterns I see in high-earners — and what becomes possible when the limbic prediction is updated, not just understood.
The Pattern
"When The Gap Hasn't Closed"
The business coaching gave you better pricing frameworks. The mindset work gave you insight into the pattern. The masterminds gave you accountability. And the income ceiling is still in the same place it was two years ago.
You haven't failed. You've been applying cognitive tools to a limbic problem. Strategy, awareness, and willpower can't override a neural prediction — and that's where the income ceiling actually lives.
Here's what happened when the work reached the right level:
“I struggled for years to overcome the fears and anxieties that were plaguing me but was not able to do it on my own.”
I came to see Kristin primarily for help dealing with social anxiety – especially in work related interactions. I have always been hesitant to speak out in groups but over the years this hesitation morphed into full blown panic attacks that would arise whenever I had to introduce myself, talk during a meeting, or give a formal presentation. I avoided group interactions and took medication to calm the physical symptoms when avoidance wasn't possible.
I knew that this inner, critical voice was feeding my social anxiety and even had a good idea why I was so self-critical, but intellectual knowledge of my emotional responses didn't change them...
I have been on several job interviews since our time together and have experienced a normal level of nervousness as opposed to heart pounding panic. To my great relief I no longer have a critical, judging voice constantly playing in my head highlighting everything I have done or might do wrong. I am much more comfortable with myself and find that being comfortable with myself makes me comfortable with other people as well. I struggled for years to overcome the fears and anxieties that were plaguing me but was not able to do it on my own. Kristin was able to help me examine, understand, and reframe the events and ideas that created and fed those fears and this has transformed my life.

I have tried cognitive behavioral therapy in the past, as well as attempts at meditation to try to deal with my anxiety and physical symptoms... I would still get physical symptoms and 'get stuck' in the feelings... no matter what I tried. Someone in my family had great results with Kristin... The experience I had was nothing short of incredible... My sessions with Kristin have helped me release so much of the anxiety and physical symptoms... I could not even produce a physically anxious response after the session even when I tried... it was amazing.

I can not tell you how many years and forms of therapy I tried that left me disappointed with little to no lasting results... When I first met Kristin in her office, I could already tell that she was different from others I had trusted to help me... I was surprised when she confidently stated that she believed I would be set... within 1 to 3 sessions. It has been 3 months since that time and my life has completely changed.

The Pattern
“I Know the Number. I Can't Make Myself Say It.”
You planned the number. You rehearsed holding it. You walked into the conversation ready — and something fired before you could execute. A lower number came out. Or you discounted before they pushed back. Or the scope expanded and the invoice didn't follow.
This isn't weak negotiating. It's a limbic prediction that fires in milliseconds — faster than conscious intention can intervene. The pattern is running below the level where strategy lives.
Here's what changes when the prediction updates:
“I credit her hypnotherapy for much of my success.”
I accepted a role in my company that required me to represent our company in front of large groups ranging from CEOs of fortune 100 companies to Congress. My first presentation was a disaster. I froze in the middle of the presentation and couldn't complete it.
I attended sessions with personal development coaches and one-on-one training with my executive team and joined Toastmasters. All of these methods helped but didn't fully resolve the issue. I began exploring hypnosis as a possible solution but couldn't find a practitioner that was the right fit for me until I stumbled across Kristin's TEDx Talk. Her talk inspired me, and I quickly realized that Kristin was someone that I could connect with...
Kristin worked to help me identify the root causes of my public speaking fears and provided me with visualization tools to help me overcome them... Kristin helped me to identify my barriers to speaking in public and provided me with visualization tools that I use to this day to overcome them. Kristin Rivas is a thoughtful consummate professional dedicated to your improvement. I credit her hypnotherapy for much of my success.
— J. King, Washington
I visited you for a session shortly before the wedding date to help me deal with public speaking anxiety, and was very unsure of how much of an impact a hypnosis session could make. Well, I was blown away. The speech went incredibly well, and I felt calm, spoke clearly, and even enjoyed myself. Shocker.

From the time I was a child, as far as I can remember, I struggled with social situations and just with my self in general... Since then the change in me might be hard to explain since it's like I've actually become who I've always truly been. I feel free to be me and happy about who I am and that doesn't change in any context. I feel peaceful, confident, and clear whether I'm alone, working, with friends or family or even meeting new people.

The Pattern
“I Know I'm Worth More. My Nervous System Disagrees.”
You can articulate your market value precisely. You can point to peers earning more with less experience. You can see the gap clearly. And when money is actually on the table, the body does something else entirely — contraction, the urge to justify, the compulsion to give more than you charged.
Knowing better doesn't update a limbic prediction. The intellectual understanding is real. The pattern runs below it, in a system that doesn't process logic or insight.
That isn't a character flaw. It's a neurological one. And it has a specific mechanism — which means it has a specific fix.
“To my great relief I no longer have a critical, judging voice constantly playing in my head.”
For years I had felt like an imposter at work despite the fact my performance ratings were high and feedback from managers and colleagues was very good. But inwardly I saw nothing but my faults and flaws. I agonized over each decision I had to make and criticized myself mercilessly for every real or imagined mistake no matter how small.
I knew that this inner, critical voice was feeding my social anxiety and even had a good idea why I was so self-critical, but intellectual knowledge of my emotional responses didn't change them...
To my great relief I no longer have a critical, judging voice constantly playing in my head highlighting everything I have done or might do wrong. I am much more comfortable with myself and find that being comfortable with myself makes me comfortable with other people as well.

The Question
“I'm Analytical. I Need to Understand It Before I Try It.”
Good. The mechanism is straightforward: the income ceiling pattern lives in the limbic system — the part of the brain that processes threat and safety signals below the level of conscious thought. It doesn't respond to logic because it doesn't process language.
The methods I use — clinical hypnotherapy, NLP, somatic anchoring — access the limbic system through the pathways that actually reach it. This isn't philosophy. It's functional neuroscience applied to a specific behavioral pattern.
From people who walked in with the same skepticism:
“Hypnosis was a powerful and pleasurable experience for me.”
I am 71 years old and have had a fear of the dark for as long as I can remember... Several people had suggested that since I am a strong personality, I would not be able to go into a trance. As it turned out, I went into a trance easily and really enjoyed it.
There was nothing scary as I trusted Kristin immediately. She made me comfortable, asked questions, explained the process, and put me at ease before starting... Since our session, I have put myself through little tests... None of these things could I have done before my time with Kristin. Now they seem easy.
Hypnosis was a powerful and pleasurable experience for me.
— Marion, Pacific Northwest
It's rare these days to find a product or service that absolutely exceeds what you were hoping for... I have been skeptical about the idea of hypnosis having any real benefit for myself other than 'entertainment'. In a very professional and reassuring way, Kristin took me from a naive person who had lots of doubts, to a person with a new confidence in myself. Since my session, I've had fresh outlook on issues in my life that used to pull me down and I felt trapped there. Not now.
— Clark R., Florida
For years I had been skeptical about hypnosis, but I can say from personal experience… it works. It was hard to believe that in the brief time Kristin worked with me, she was able to help me overcome emotions I had struggled with repeatedly for years.

The Concern
“What If It Doesn't Hold?”
You've raised your rates before. It held for a few weeks and then the old patterns reasserted — discounting, scope absorption, giving back value you didn't owe. The behavior changed. The underlying prediction didn't.
When we update the limbic prediction itself — not just the behavior sitting on top of it — there's nothing to reassert. The nervous system isn't working against the behavior change anymore. The rerouting stops.
These clients aren't reporting how they felt after one session. They're reporting what changed — and stayed changed:
“THIS is the SINGLE most IMPACTFUL thing I have done.”
I watched Kristin's presentation 'The Life Changing Power of Words TEDx Rainier' on video 3 weeks ago... THIS is the SINGLE most IMPACTFUL thing I have done. We did a one time session and she didn't pressure me to come back...
I have been SO productive in my work and I feel differently and act differently now... I swear to you – she is PHENOMENAL and this stuff works... I also listen to the recording she sent me home with every 3 or so days because I love it... Kristin and her work is literally a gift from God.

Ready to Close the Gap?
The people above had tried the strategies, understood their patterns, and still had the ceiling. Their sessions addressed it at the level where it actually lives. You'll know whether our work bridged the gap not from how you feel — but from what happens the next time money is on the table.
